The meeting times would be two (2) Wednesday afternoons out the month most likely from 1pm to about 4pm. This a great time to play a fun game of bridge and have light fare with a great group!

The social and events committees, in cooperation with the Board of Directors are hosting a community-wide cleanup day on Saturday, April 18th. All volunteers should meet at the Community Center at 9am for free coffee and bagels. The Association will also provide trash bags and gloves to aid in trash collection. Unfortunately, we were not able to secure additional dumpsters, but will utilize the one at the Community Center. After receiving multiple complaints about trash, it is our sincere hope that that we can come together and donate a few hours to get the community cleaned up in time for Earth day and the Spring season. If you have any questions, please contact the management office at 410-799-4430 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
The social committee is hosting a free children’s scavenger hunt at the community center tot lot on Saturday, April 4th at 2pm. There will be games, prizes, and of course CANDY. Please RSVP by signing up at https://www.volunteersignup.org/7CAT7
The Board of Directors has taken feedback from last year’s application process and in an effort to reduce frustration with identification and taking into consideration respect for personal information and privacy have changed the process to make it simpler, more efficient, and less intrusive, while maintaining integrity and fairness to all residents.
Applications for the 2015 pool season may either be submitted via on-line forms or in person at the office. All residents must visit the management office to have their picture taken, as we are transitioning to a laminated pass with picture ID in an effort to reduce the need to keep additional photo identification with you when entering the pool. Homeowners will also be moving to a multi-year pass, while tenants will utilize a one year pass to save on costs and streamline the pool pass process. All residents need to schedule a time to meet with the manager by Monday, May 4, 2015.
The office will remain open Monday evenings until 9pm from 3/23 – 5/4 for your convenience. As a reminder, the office is closed on Fridays. When visiting the office to have your picture taken, please bring all household family members that are requesting a pool pass, along with the required residency verification documentation. There is no guarantee that your application will be processed in time for opening day if you have not met with the manager by Monday, May 4, 2015. Resident Homeowner(s) – Please complete and submit the application at: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=pEAJVtjmxFppPFSpgqlGjA
For rental properties, both the property owner(s) and tenant(s) must complete and submit a 2-part application. * If you are the property owner(s) and are transferring pool usage to your tenant(s), please complete and submit the application at: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=9OHT1GLWbK9Hvqu1STjfcQ * If you are the leasing tenant(s), please complete and submit the application at: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=iTGoFMYBmR-fFe4NUSeojg If you do not have computer/internet access, a paper version of the applications can be obtained from the Community Center Drop Box location. Boxes are marked “Homeowner” and “Tenant” for the correct application to complete. The Pool will be open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. * Hours when school is open: Mon-Fri: 4pm – 8pm; Sat/Sun: 10am -7pm * Hours when school is closed: Mon-Fri: 11am – 8pm; Sat/Sun: 10am – 7pm * Holidays: 10am – 7pm Residents are required to show their pool pass upon entry to the pool area.
Just a reminder that with school back in session beginning today, August 25, 2014, the pool does not open until on weekdays. Weekend hours will remain10am – 8pm. Monday September 1, 2014 will be the final day that the pool is open, with full day hours from 10am to 8pm. Get out and enjoy the pool in these last days of summer!
Thanks so much to everyone who came to Villages of Dorchester’s first annual NATIONAL NIGHT OUT event yesterday evening and for making it such a big success! It was great to see so many neighbors willing to volunteer for the neighborhood watch and dog-walker watch initiatives. It was also really nice to finally meet so many of you in person. Special thanks go out to all of the organizations that showed up including CERT, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts as well as our awesome local businesses and public services. I have no doubt that we will continue to keep building momentum and next years National Night Out will be even better :) If you took pics that you do not mind sharing, please email them to email@example.com and I’ll add them to our gallery! From the National Night Out planning committee – we look forward to seeing you again next year, and thanks again to everyone in VOD and our neighboring communities for helping to make this a great place to live!
