Mike QuirusMichael Quirus – President

Mike graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland College Park and brings over a decade of experience in the residential housing industry to the table including construction, finance, land development, procurement, and contract negotiation. He has a great passion to make the community an attractive, safe, enjoyable place to live and is committed to putting processes into place to ensure positive growth in our property values. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, is an avid gardener, and you can usually find him tinkering in his garage or building something new. Mike is the board liason for the Facilities Committee.

ChrisChristopher Elcock – Vice President

Chris Elcock is a Senior Associate at GWWO an architectural firm specializing in the design of cultural and educational facilities. His career has been focused on museums, theaters, visitor centers and schools. He lives in the Cheshire village with his cat Pascal. His other interests include painting and is often seen in the front room of his townhouse with the blinds open and working on his latest creative pursuit. Pascal is his worst critic. Chris also chairs the Architecture Review Committee.


LisaLisa Saunders – Treasurer

Lisa Saunders graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science and holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. She currently works in the federal government and focuses on mortgage credit policy. She has previous experience in enforcement, contracting and asset management. Lisa lives in Kent with her husband, Jay, and their four dogs including Sophie (pictured). She loves animals, especially dogs, and works to support several animal rescues. In her spare time, she likes to watch TV, read and dabble at various art projects. Lisa is committed to making the Villages of Dorchester a great place to live. Lisa chairs the Security Committee and co-chairs the Programs and Events Team.


Robin Shotola FuchsRobin Fuchs – Secretary

Robin Shotola Fuchs moved to Villages of Dorchester in 2007. Robin holds a BM in Music Education from Northwestern University, and is now a professional photographer specializing in weddings and events. She also earned a Graphic Design Certificate from MICA and has experience working as a web and graphic designer. Robin and her husband chose to move their family to Villages of Dorchester because they value the cultural diversity that this community offers,and they want their children to grow up in a neighborhood with lots of other children and families. Being a work-from-home mom, she spends most of her time right here in the neighborhood and she ran for the Board Of Directors so that she could help improve the spirit of community and togetherness for VOD. Robin lives in Kent and is frequently seen pushing a jog stroller along Dorchester Blvd in the mornings. Robin also chairs the Communications Committee.


Eric Smith – Director at Large

Eric Smith is a native of Baltimore, MD and a Marine Corps veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm. He grew up in Northwest Baltimore and graduated from Walbrook Senior High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Telecommunications Specialist during Desert Storm. After his military service, he returned to Baltimore and began working in the Information Technology field supporting the Department of Defense. Eric is currently employed with the Federal Government as an Information Technology Specialist. He enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. Also in his spare time, he studies new and innovative technology and shares this knowledge with friends and family through his IT consulting business, Elaycire Consulting. Eric is married with two daughters.


Candice WojnarowskiCandice Wojnarowski

Candice Wojnarowski has been with FirstService Residential (formerly Wentworth) for six years. She began her career working in a Philadelphia high-rise condominium as a chauffeur and worked her way up to concierge. From there she was promoted to assistant manager at another FirstService Residential Philadelphia high-rise property before being promoted to Maryland to manage Villages of Dorchester. Candice has dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Human Resource Management from Cabrini College, and recently earned her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) certification. She is thrilled to be working with such a large and diverse community, and she prides herself on delivering the best possible customer service to all of her residents. When she’s not working, Candice loves to bike ride, spoil Bailey (her Australian cattle dog), and spend time with her family and friends. If you have not had a chance to stop by the office and meet Candice, she is onsite from 9am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and can’t wait to make your acquaintance.
